Day 1:

Theory
Understanding masticatory apparatus
Understanding and examination of TMJ anatomy and muscles mastication
Imaging modalities for hard and soft components of the TMJ
Understanding of normal occulsion, occlusal interference and unstable occlusion
Through understanding of TMDS (myofacial pain, internal disc derangement- why clicking sound is heard in TMJ and osteoarthritis)
Introduction to Facebow and Articulator

Hands on
Demo of Facebow transfer transfer and transferring it on the articulator
Demo of Anterior Deprogrammer and hands on of the same on live patient

Day 2:

Lecture
Treatment planning of TMDS
Types of occlusal splints
What occlusal splints can and cannot do
How to deliver and anterior deprogrammer and occlusal , splint and instructions to give to patients
How to perform reprogramming of occlusal splints and recall

Hands on
Demo of Intraoral method of splint with cold cure acrylic resin

Day 3:

Lecture
What comes next after splints therapy?
Case reports
Differential Diagnosis of Myafascial Pain, Case reports and some steps of FMR full mouth rehablititaion

Hands-on
Reprogramming of occlusal splints. We will call most of our own patients for the best learning experience
Demo of Tscan and micro occlusion
Participants will work on patients and deliver an intraoral splint
