- Technique of single and double floss ligature
- Tips and tricks for isolation of subgingival caries and isolation for adhesive cementation of indirect restorations.
(Posterior Composite):
- Contemporary cavity design
- Contemporary adhesion protocols with special emphasis on universal adhesives and how to predictably use them.
- Different passive and active sectional matrices, clinical indications of each and tips and tricks for a properly contoured Class II composite restoration with a tight contact.
- Conventional versus bulkfill composites and guidelines on material selection.
- Difference between light curing devices and tips and tricks for predictable photocuring.
- Techniques for building an esthetic, functional and durable Class II composite restorations.
2nd Day :
(Anterior Composite)
- Advances in composite technology for supreme esthetics regarding materials and techniques.
- Intra- and extra-oral mock ups and fabrication of a proper palatal Index.
- Shade Selection and shade reproduction tips and tricks.
- Vertical anatomical layering techniques.
- Protocols of finishing and polishing to obtaining life-like anterior composite restorations.
Hands on :
- Rubber Dam Application
- Matricing and wedging using recent sectional matrix systems.
- Incrementing an esthetic, functional and durable Class II composite restorations
- Step by step restoration of a Class IV fracture from mock-ups till finishing and polishing.
